The 58th GRAMMYs Awards Ceremony will take place on February 15, 2016, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Once again, the show will be hosted by LL Cool J who will help showcase and award some of the year’s biggest musicians such as Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Meghan Trainor, Florence + The Machine, Maroon 5, Drake and Bruno Mars.

The awards will be handed out in categories such as Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best R&B PerforTaylor_Swift_1989mance, and Best Rap.

Potential winners for Record of the Year are unsurprising: “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars, “Thinking out Loud” by Ed Sheeran, “Blank Space” by Taylor Swift, and “Can’t Feel My Face” by The Weeknd.

Nominees for Album of the Year include Kendrick Lamar for To Pimp a Butterfly, Taylor Swift for 1989, the Weeknd for Beauty Behind the Madness, and Alabama Shakes for Sound & Color. Though this year has seen many hit songs, the GRAMMYs will select one of the following as Song of the Year: “Alright,” “Blank Space,” “Girl Crush,” “See You Again,” or “Thinking Out Loud,” as Song of the Year.

Being the most sucweekndcessful artists of the year, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and Kendrick Lamar have the most nominations. Kendrick Lamar earned himself 11 nominations, while Taylor Swift and the Weeknd each earned seven.

Though the live performances have not been announced, the GRAMMYs never seems to let music lovers down. Tune in to the airing on February 15, 2016 to see which talented artists will take home awards for their success and great music.
